Gov’t ready to reimburse up to 50 percent of costs of obtaining IT certificates
From June 1, 2021, the government is introducing a procedure for reimbursing up to 50 percent of the costs of obtaining international IT certificates.
A relevant decree of the Cabinet of Ministers has already been signed.
According to the document, applicants will register for free on the portal ‘IT-talents of Uzbekistan’ by submitting an electronic application.
The Directorate of the Technological Park of Software and Information Technologies, within 5 working days, will consider the application along with the necessary documents and will verify the submitted international IT certificate.
The working body will summarize the documents of the applicants, and within 5 working days will send proposals for financing to the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development.
Proposals submitted by the working body will be agreed with the competent agency within 3 working days.
Accordingly, the working body, within three working days, will transfer the corresponding amount of money to reimburse part of the costs of obtaining an international IT certificate to the account specified by the applicant.
