Uzbekistan increases cement imports

According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-April 2021, Uzbekistan imported 1 million tons of cement for $50.5 million.

Ths figure is more by 515.1 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

Cement was mainly imported from:

• Kazakhstan - 498.3 thousand tons
• Kyrgyzstan - 278.5 thousand tons
• Tajikistan - 234.7 thousand tons
• Iran - 10.8 thousand tons
• Turkmenistan - 8.6 thousand tons
