Statistics Committee announces data on countries with largest foreign capital in enterprises of Uzbekistan

According to the State Statistics Committee, as of August 1, 2021, the number of enterprises and organizations with foreign capital registered in the country is 13.5 thousand, of which 12.9 thousand are active. 

The number of operating enterprises with foreign capital increased by 1,772 compared to the same period last year.

The number of enterprises in Uzbekistan with foreign capital:

• Russia - 2,291
• China - 1,915
• Turkey - 1,776
• Kazakhstan - 1,023
• South Korea - 923 

The number of newly-established enterprises with foreign capital in January-July 2021:

• Turkey - 252
• Russia - 228
• China - 161
• Kazakhstan - 121
• South Korea - 64
