Uzbekistan increases truck production

From January to August 2021, Uzbekistan produced 2,577 units of trucks.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure is up by 1.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year.

The number of trucks produced in January-August:

• 2019 – 3,450 units
• 2020 – 2,545 units
• 2021 – 2,577 units

Reportedly, the country exported $8.3 million worth of trucks to foreign countries in the first 7 months of 2021.
