Uzbekistan appoints new ambassador to Egypt
Mansurbek Kilichev has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
According to the MFA press service, he has been working in the diplomatic service since 2002.
In particular, in 2012-2013, Mansurbek Kilichev was the first secretary of the Uzbek embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in 2013-2019 – the consul general in Dubai (UAE).
In 2019-2020, he worked as Deputy Director of the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations – head of a department.
In addition, in 2020-2021, he served as Deputy Director of the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
