Two traffic accidents claim lives of nine people in Navoi

As a result of a traffic accident in the Navoi region, 8 people died. Allegedly, three of them were executives of the Nurata branch of the People’s Bank. Also, 1 person died as a result of another traffic accident in the region. The incident was caused by a sandstorm that limited visibility and the distance was not maintained, Gazeta.uz reports.
On November 6, eight people were killed in a car accident in Navoi. Three of them were employees of the Nurata branch of the People’s Bank.
Reportedly, the accident occurred on the Navoi-Nurata road when two Nexia cars collided with each other. One of the cars overturned on the roadside and the other caught fire.
Temurmalik Pirmatov, 29, head of the Nurata district branch of the People’s Bank, Muzaffar Saidov, 40, chief accountant, and Yunusjon Ravshanov, 32, head of the monitoring department, died at the scene. In addition, 5 people in the burning car were killed on the spot.
Also, on November 4, at 13:30, a traffic accident occurred on the highway A-379, passing through the territory of Konimekh district, Navoi region.
Captiva, driven by U.T. (born in 1985), Nexia, driven by M.E. (born in 1962) and Cobalt, driven by A.T. (born in 1984) cars collided. The incident was caused by a sandstorm that limited visibility and the distance was not maintained.
As a result, a passenger in the Cobalt died at the scene due to severe bodily injuries.
On the above case, the Investigation Department under the Konimekh district DIA is conducting a preliminary investigation.
