Uzbekistan, Turkey to launch an electronic cargo transportation permit system

Uzbekistan and Turkey will launch the E-Permit system of electronic exchange of permit forms for the carriage of goods, Spot reports with reference to the press service of the Transport Ministry.
As part of the first stage of the implementation of the system, the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan for the first time organized a test car rally using E-Permit.
On November 6, the convoy left Uzbekistan and arrived in Turkey on November 10 through the “Sarp” checkpoint. It was welcomed by representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, as well as representatives of the customs administration.
The ministry notes that the introduction of an e-system will speed up transport operations and increase trade between the two countries.
