Uzbekistan increases cement imports
In January-October 2021, Uzbekistan imported 2.4 million tons of cement for $114 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure has increased by 336.5 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
In the first 10 months of 2021, Uzbekistan imported cement mainly from:
- Kazakhstan - 1.1 million tons
- Tajikistan - 631.8 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 604.3 thousand tons
- Iran - 51 thousand tons
- Turkmenistan - 35.6 thousand tons
