931 non-governmental kindergartens in Uzbekistan have been suspended due to insufficient preparation for the autumn-winter season, the head of the information service of the Ministry of Preschool Education Mavluda Askarkhodjayeva reported.
Reportedly, a working group consisting of ministerial representatives conducted inspections at places to prepare for the autumn-winter season 2021-2022. As a result, kindergartens with problems with heating systems have been suspended. In particular, 10 non-governmental kindergartens in the Tashkent region were closed due to insufficient preparation for the autumn-winter season.
“They need to adjust the heating system to resume operations. These kindergartens will resume operations once the deficiencies are rectified,” the ministerial spokesperson said.
