Uzbekistan increases coal production
In 2021, Uzbekistan produced 5.1 million tons of coal, the State Statistics Committee said.
According to the committee, coal production increased by 22.3% compared to 2020.
Earlier it was reported that in January-November 2021, Uzbekistan had produced 4.6 million tons of coal, which is more by 928.7 thousand tons than the same period in 2020.
It should be reminded that in December 2021, Uzbekistan sent coal and food products to Afghanistan as humanitarian aid. The cargo was delivered from the city of Termez to Mazar-i-Sharif on December 23.
