On February 1, a meeting of the Senate Committee on budget and economic reforms was held.
As the Senate press service reported, the participants of the meeting considered the law “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the further strengthening of guarantees of the rights of citizens and business entities”.
This document introduces amendments and additions to the Labor, Civil and Tax Codes, as well as to the laws “On State Pensions for Citizens” and “On Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
In particular, the law “On State Pensions for Citizens” provides for the inclusion in the work experience of no more than 6 years, along with the time spent on parental leave (previously it was 3 years).
It should be recalled that in 2021, changes were also made to the legislation on pension provision.
