Statistics Committee provides data on population density by regions

As of January 1, 2022, the population density in the country was 78.6 people per Km².

According to the State Statistics Committee, the figure increased by 1.6 people compared to the same period last year.

Population density by regions per Km²:

- Karakalpakstan - 11.7 people
- Andijan region - 756.6 people
- Bukhara region - 49.1 people
- Jizzakh region - 68.1 people
- Kashkadarya region - 119.3 people
- Navoi region - 9.3 people
- Namangan region - 394 people
- Samarkand region - 240.4 people
- Surkhandarya region - 136.5 people
- Syrdarya region - 205.3 people
- Tashkent region - 192.9 people
- Fergana region - 576.4 people
- Khorezm region - 318 people
- Tashkent city - 8,035.1 people
