MFA announces personnel changes in several departments

Today, February 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov chaired the expanded meeting of the MFA board.

During the meeting, he announced personnel changes in the system of the ministry.

According to the MFA press service, Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, who has been the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates since 2019, has been appointed Director of the Economic Diplomacy Department.

Sarvar Mirzarakhimov has been appointed acting head of the State Protocol Department.

Umid Akramov, who worked as the chief specialist of the Finance and Economics Department at the MFA, has been appointed acting head of the Economic Support Department.
