US dollar exchange rate drops below UZS 11,000 mark
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set new foreign exchange rates, which will be effective from June 1 this year.
According to the regulator, the US dollar drops by 25.09 soums and amounts to 10,985.79 soums.
The euro, in the meantime, falls by 74.25 soums to 11,780.06 soums.
The Russian ruble, on the other hand, rises in price by 4.17 soums, reaching the mark of 179.43 soums.
Rates are set without the obligation of the Central Bank to buy or sell currency at a given rate.
