MIFT discusses prospects for development of Uzbek-Mongolian cooperation
On June 3, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade (MIFT) of Uzbekistan held a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Khurram Teshabayev and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Batsumber Munkhzhin.

According to the MIFT, during the talks, issues of further expansion of bilateral trade-economic cooperation were discussed in detail.
Particular attention was paid to increasing the volume of trade by expanding the range of goods with high added value supplied to the markets of both countries.
The parties also discussed the possibility of developing cooperation in such promising sectors as the textile, leather and footwear, agricultural, food and automotive industries.
The participants of the meeting agreed to intensify work to increase the export-import potential of bilateral trade, bearing in mind the ongoing online round tables with the participation of representatives of chambers of commerce and industry and their member companies in order to establish cooperation between representatives of the business community.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on the development of a “Roadmap”, which includes a set of measures aimed at bringing bilateral trade and economic cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
