Direct regular flights between Tashkent and Hanoi may be launched

Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Abdusamat Muminov held a meeting with Ambassador of Vietnam Dang Min Khoi.

According to the Transport Ministry of Uzbekistan, the meeting discussed issues related to the development of trade-economic ties between our countries, bringing to a new level of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of tourism.

In particular, issues related to the resumption of direct flights between the capitals of the two states in order to develop tourism and increase the volume of passenger and freight traffic between our countries were discussed in detail.

During the meeting, the parties agreed in the near future to discuss in detail the issue related to the organization of regular flights on the Hanoi-Tashkent-Hanoi route, establishing direct cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and Uzbekistan Airways JSC, as well as Uzbekistan Airports JSC.
