President names main goal of those who run mass riots in Karakalpakstan 

During his speech, the President stressed that there are various destructive external forces that are not interested in the consistent and stable development of the country. 

“These forces pursued malicious goals aimed at undermining the peaceful situation in our country, gaining the trust of our citizens and leading them astray, and such attempts can continue,” the head of state said. 

Mirziyoyev stated that “we are able to promptly and quickly respond to any evil plans and actions of such forces that are hostile to our country”. 

“When analyzing the events that have taken place, we must never forget that if we do not take decisive measures on time, the goals we have achieved will be under the threat of the influence of malevolent external forces. If we are not always vigilant and resolute, the peace and tranquility of our country, our homes and the future of our children will easily be in danger. All local leaders should once again be well aware of the turbulent and difficult times we are living in today,” he said. 

According to the President, mass riots in Karakalpakstan have been prepared for years by foreign forces. 

“These events were not organized in one day or ten. These actions have been prepared for years by foreign forces. Their main goal is an encroachment on the territorial integrity of Uzbekistan and the creation of an interethnic conflict. The investigation team led by the First Deputy Prosecutor General is conducting a thorough and impartial investigation of the events,” Mirziyoyev said. 

It is also necessary to ensure an impartial investigation of the events that took place, so it is necessary to involve members of the public, deputies and activists. 

“The Prosecutor General has been entrusted with the task of carefully and objectively investigating each case and giving a fair legal assessment of the actions of the incident participants,” the head of state concluded.
