Uzbekistan increases potato imports
In January-July 2022, Uzbekistan imported 322,000 tons of potatoes from 15 countries for $57.2 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, potato imports have increased by almost 11.7 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period of last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported potatoes mainly from the following countries:
— Pakistan - 257.9 thousand tons
— Kazakhstan - 23.5 thousand tons
— Russia - 15 thousand tons
— Kyrgyz R. - 9.4 thousand tons
— Iran - 5.6 thousand tons
— The Netherlands - 5.3 thousand tons
— Afghanistan - 4 thousand tons
— Belarus - 631.6 tons
— Poland - 559 tons
