A tree grove on Chilanzar street in Tashkent was completely destroyed. Kun.uz prepared a material earlier this year about the fate of trees in danger, when the head of the company that bought the area promised not to harm any trees.
On September 7, information about the illegal cutting of trees on Chilanzar street, Chilanzar district of Tashkent city was spread on social networks. The State Ecology Committee gave official information on the situation.
It is noted that a working group headed by the deputy chairman of the State Ecology Committee was formed and went to the place to study the situation.
According to the results of the study, it was known that this area belongs to “Dream House Stroy” LLC. The area allocated for construction consists of a total of 0.20 hectares of land, and on January 20 of this year, environmental inspectors conducted a complete survey of the trees, and a certificate was issued regarding the presence of a total of 58 ornamental trees of various types.
With this document, a warning was given to “Dream House Stroy” LLC regarding not cutting trees and preserving trees in accordance with the law. On January 20, representatives of the enterprise presented a letter of guarantee not to carry out illegal actions against trees.
On February 17, the company filed an application regarding the cutting of trees in the area through a Single Portal. Tashkent City Ecology Department rejected the application.
During the research carried out by the special working group today, on the night of September 8, it was found that a total of 58 ornamental and fruit trees of various types were completely destroyed on the land belonging to “Dream House Stroy” LLC.
According to the Eco-Committee, the total damage to the flora was estimated at 797,700,000 soums.
“The documents were prepared and sent to the law enforcement agencies to consider the issue of bringing the relevant persons to justice based on Article 197-6 of the Administrative Responsibility Code and Article 198 of the Criminal Code, due to the failure of the state ecological inspectors to fulfill their legal requirements,” the report said.

At that time, the construction company had fenced off the grove. Umar Gaffarov, who introduced himself as the owner and investor of this place, promised in front of Kun.uz correspondent and environmentalists that no tree will be harmed.
Gaffarov said that he is building a business center and a hotel here.
According to the state register, “Dream House Stroy” LLC was registered in 2017. The main line of activity is “Wholesale of equipment for the textile, sewing and knitting industry”.
The company’s sole founder is the son of Kozimjon Turaboyev (100%). Svetlana Biyunova has been mentioned as the head of the company.
There is no other information about what other companies Kozimjon Turaboyev owns in open sources. Svetlana Biyunova is also the head of “Capital Qurilishtamirlash Birlashmasi” LLC, which was registered in 2017. Nozima Israilova has been indicated as the sole founder of this enterprise (100%).
