Uzbekistan Railways plans to purchase 34 electric trains, 6 diesel trains and 100 passenger wagons

The official delegation of Uzbekistan Railways JSC took part in the international exhibition InnoTrans 2022 in Berlin, the company said.

Members of the delegation held talks with representatives of leading world companies such as Alstom (France), Siemens (Germany), SAF (Spain), Stadler (Switzerland), Skoda (Czech Republic) and Hyundai (South Korea).

During the talks, they discussed the purchase of new electric trains and modern passenger wagons.

Based on the results of the negotiations, it is planned to purchase 34 electric trains, 6 diesel trains and at least 100 modern passenger wagons to ensure unimpeded service for passengers throughout the republic.
