Uzbekistan imported $123 million worth of mobile phones over eight months

In January-August 2022, Uzbekistan imported 1,925,876 units of mobile phones from 13 countries for $123 million, the State Statistics Committee said.

During the reporting period, the republic imported mobile phones mainly from the following countries:

— China - 1.4 million
— UAE - 239 thousand
— Vietnam - 148 thousand 
— India - 127 thousand 
— Kazakhstan - 25 thousand 
— South Korea - 2.1 thousand
