Five-magnitude G3 magnetic storms are expected in the capital of Uzbekistan, a leading specialist of Uzhydromet Erkin Abdulakhatov reported.
According to him, on September 29-30, cyclic solar flares occurred in the zones of active solar emission, causing magnetic storms.
In turn, five-magnitude magnetic storms are expected in Tashkent on October 1-2.
Meteorologists remind that during the period of magnetic storms, people should follow simple rules so as not to endanger their health. So, it is recommended to exclude and diet heavy food, alcohol, it is not recommended to smoke. Experts also advise citizens, especially weather-sensitive ones, to avoid driving and try not to experience stress.
Under the influence of magnetic storms, experts believe, a breakdown, a decrease in the psycho-emotional state, headaches, and insomnia are not ruled out. Symptoms depend on the characteristics of the body, the age of the person, the presence of chronic diseases. It is believed that older people are more susceptible to meteorological dependence.
Very strong magnetic storms can cause interruptions in the operation of radio electronics and various communication equipment.
