Inflation at 1.2% in October

According to the State Statistics Committee, in October 2022, goods and services in the consumer sector increased by 1.2% on average.

In annual terms, the growth rate of the consumer price index reached 12.2%.

In the past month, prices for food products increased by an average of 1.4%, non-food products – by 0.9% and paid services to the population – by 1.5%.

Earlier, the Central Bank predicted inflation slightly above the 12% mark by the end of the year.
