Heavy snowfall limits work of Samarkand airport

Today in the morning, Samarkand airport introduced restrictions on serving aircraft due to worsening weather conditions, Uzbekistan Airports reported.

According to the latest information, visibility considerably dropped and moderate snow is affecting the operation of flights.

“Airport ground handling services are taking all necessary measures. They are cleaning the runway and taxiways with the help of special equipment and chemical reagents,” the report says.
