According to the information service of Surkhandarya regional administration, the unified electric energy system of Uzbekistan, in the event of emergency shutdowns, power and fuel shortages, from January 4 to January 31, 2023, a special schedule on the limitation of 35-110 kW networks coming out of main power networks and substations under the jurisdiction of regional branches of “Regional Electric Networks” JSC was approved.

The information service of Bukhara regional administration reported that restrictions may be imposed on the regions on the basis of the schedule from January 3-10, when there is a power shortage in the system.

“Kashkadarya Regional Electric Networks” informed that due to the lack of power in the power system, restrictions were re-introduced in the region from January 3, and the restrictions will be carried out on the basis of equal distribution across regions based on the pre-developed schedule. There is no information on how long the restrictions will last in Kashkadarya.

For information, at the beginning of December due to cold weather, restrictions on electricity supply were introduced in all regions of Uzbekistan. Schedules of planned interruptions in the supply of all regions, the city of Tashkent and the power grid enterprises of the Republic of Karakalpakstan have been announced.

In recent weeks, the warm weather and New Year holidays have resulted in uninterrupted power supply to all areas.
