Changes coming into force from May 1 announced
Kun.uz website traditionally reminds citizens of some changes in the legislation of Uzbekistan that will come into force from May 1, 2023.
• Salaries will be increased;
• 50% discount will be introduced on fines;
• Preferential transport cards will be launched;
• Some people get VAT refunds on their purchases;
• It will be mandatory to install an online camera at CNG filling stations;
• Installation of solar panels on the roof of new residential buildings will be mandatory;
• Some citizens will be provided with free meals in hospitals;
• Relatives of the deceased serviceman will be provided with social support;
• Training courses for managing personnel will be introduced;
• Remote bank account opening will be allowed.
