Salaries to increase from May 1
From Monday, May 1, salaries are being raised in Uzbekistan.

It should be recalled on March 28 this year, the President signed a decree “On increasing salaries, pensions and benefits”.
According to the document, from May 1, the salaries of state employees will increase by 7%.
Thus, from May 1 of the current year on the territory of the republic:
ꞏ the minimum wage will be 980,000 soums per month;
ꞏ base calculating amount - 330,000 soums per month.
Earlier, it was also reported that during 2023 in Uzbekistan, the authorities decided to increase wages and pensions twice.
At the first stage, from April 1, pensions and benefits increased by 7%, and from May 1, wages will increase by 7%. At the second stage, from September 1, pensions, benefits and salaries will be increased by 10%.
