Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Berlin
Today, May 2, Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Berlin at the invitation of the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
According to the presidential press service, at the airport Berlin-Brandenburg, the state flags of the two countries were raised, and a guard of honor was lined up.
The distinguished guest was met by German officials.
“Today, the head of our state will meet with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz,” the report says.


It should be reminded that in accordance with the program of the visit, bilateral meetings are planned to be held in Berlin with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
The parties will discuss topical issues of further deepening the Uzbek-German multifaceted relations, and exchange views on various aspects of the international agenda.
Particular attention will be paid to the implementation of promising projects and programs aimed at expanding innovation and technology partnerships with leading German companies. To this end, Mirziyoyev will hold a separate meeting with German business representatives.
President Mirziyoyev is also expected to visit the exhibition "Archaeological Treasures of Uzbekistan. From Alexander the Great to the Kushan Empire".
