UzAuto Motors is expected to resume sales of Chevrolet Onix and Tracker cars. Darya.uz informed about this with reference to the representative of the company.
“Tracker and Onix will be available with additional options. New options will include heated front seats, cleaning zone, second row seats, steering wheel, six-way adjustment, driver's seat, crankcase protection, Redline package. Now we are preparing for the opening of contracts on new configurations,” the representative said.
It is said that the price of the new version of the car will be different from the previous one. However, no information has been given on whether it will increase in price or decrease in price. Sales are expected to resume this week.
Earlier, UzAuto Motors stopped issuing contracts for Chevrolet Onix and Tracker without any explanation. The cheapest car that can be bought now is Malibu XL for 420 million soums.
Typically, contract issuance suspensions are associated with inventory and subsequent price increases. For example, in the last 5 years, UzAuto Motors stopped selling cars before raising prices on various pretexts. Sales for 2020, 2021 and 2022 resumed in March.
The last time the Tracker price increased was in January 2023, while the Onix price was announced at the end of December 2022.
