SSS detain a farmer trying to sell 80 hectares of land for $320,000 in Tashkent region

Employees of the State Security Service and the Prosecutor General’s Office detained a farmer in the Orta Chirchik district of the Tashkent region who planned to illegally sell 80 hectares of irrigated land for $320,000.

He said he would register the land plot in the name of the buyer through authorities and acquaintances in the cadaster system. 

A criminal case has been opened against the farmer under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. An investigation is being conducted.
