New flights to be launched to Vietnam from Tashkent
It will increase the mutual tourist flow between Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
Tashkent International Hotel hosted a conference on the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.
The event was organized with the support of the tour operator Prestige Travel. From the Vietnamese side, it was attended by representatives of the VinPearl hotel and resort chain, which is part of the VinGroup holding, as well as the head of Amega Travel Vietnam, Sonia Nguyen.
The meeting participants discussed the creation of affordable and high-quality tour packages for Uzbeks planning to travel to Vietnam. In addition, the possibilities of attracting Vietnamese tourists to Uzbekistan were also considered.
For this purpose, it is planned to launch a new flight between the two countries. Regular direct flights from Tashkent to Vietnamese Nha Trang will begin in June, Oybek Akhmedov, head of Prestige Travel, said.
