Amount of land plot to be transferred from Tashkent region for construction of new Tashkent announced
A total of 19,729.4 hectares of land in the Yukorichirchik and Urtachirchik districts of Tashkent region will be allocated for the construction of a new Tashkent.

According to the press service of the Tashkent regional administration, 12,905.7 hectares of them are agricultural land and 6,823.7 hectares are lands of other categories.
These lands are used by 772 people. Including:
· land of farms and other agricultural enterprises – 13,185 ha (242);
· subsidiary plots and greenhouse lands – 203.8 ha (49);
· dekhkan farms – 323.5 ha (100);
· owners of other lands – 2263.2 ha (379);
· household plots – 3,012.6 ha;
· land in the reserve of local authorities – 60.5 ha (2);
· land allotted for canals and roads – 680.5 ha.
