Number of new flights to Istanbul from Uzbek cities to increase significantly
The number of flights between Tashkent and Istanbul will be increased to 50 per week.
On June 15-16, 2023, consultations of the aviation administrations of the two countries were organized in Istanbul in order to further develop cooperation in the field of civil aviation between Uzbekistan and Turkey, the press service of the Ministry of Transport reported.
During the negotiations, an agreement was reached to increase the total number of flights between Uzbekistan and Turkey from 58 to 72 per week and to open new routes.
In particular, it was agreed to increase the number of flights between Tashkent and Istanbul from 38 to 50 per week in 2023-2024, and to launch new flights to Istanbul from the cities of Karshi, Termiz, Nukus, Namangan, Andijan, and a corresponding document was signed.
