FM Saidov meets with President of Azerbaijan

On July 5, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.

At the meeting, Saidov congratulated President Aliyev on the successful chairmanship of Azerbaijan in the Non-Aligned Movement.

Ilham Aliyev, in turn, stressed the special significance of the school construction project by Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan and said that Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Baku is expected soon.

During the conversation, it was emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are strengthening within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Turkic States and other international structures.

The parties also exchanged views on other areas of mutual interest.
