New ambassador of China presents copies of his credentials to Foreign Minister Saidov
Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China, Yu Jun.
At the meeting, FM Saidov congratulated Yu Jun on his appointment as the Chinese ambassador to Uzbekistan and wished him success in his work.
He noted that bilateral relations between the countries are growing steadily and that there are many untapped opportunities to further strengthen cooperation.
It should be reminded that the previous ambassador of the PRC, Jiang Yan, completed her mission in early February this year. She was awarded the highest state award of the country – the Order of "Dustlik" (Friendship) for her personal contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.
