These days, Kun.uz complaints department is filled with complaints from hundreds of citizens who want to work in South Korea. The content of the complaint is the same: the Korean side set the threshold for passing the exam as 40 points, and the Agency changed it to 45.
Exams were held on June 7-19 among those who want to perform temporary work in the service sector in the Republic of Korea. Complainants told us that although the Korean side set the passing score for the exam as 40 points, the Uzbekistan side changed the passing score to 45.
On July 13, an announcement was made that “the passing score for the service sector has been set at 45 points by the Human Resources Development Service”. As a result of this “innovation”, many citizens fell off the “boat” of those who passed the exam, although they scored the announced 40 points.
It should be said that the passing score in the resource of the Korean side is 40 points.
Dissatisfied with this situation, the citizens went to the Migration Agency and the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment and expressed their complaints.
Kun.uz contacted the head of the press service of the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment to get a comment on the situation. According to them, the passing score was increased from 40 points to 45 points due to the increase in the number of examinees. Speaking to the editors (the interview was held on July 15 at 11:20), the head of the press service said that an official statement would be published on the ministerial website in the next few hours. But by the end of the working day, the promised statement did not appear on the pages of either the ministry or the agency.
It should be recalled that Kun.uz has been publishing many articles and videos about the corruption and violations of the law in the process of sending citizens to work in South Korea by the Foreign Labor Migration Agency. However, the competent authorities, in particular, the Prosecutor General’s Office, which is responsible for the clear and uniform execution of laws, have not yet paid attention to this.
On June 1 of this year, presidential candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the UzLiDeP congress that the system of foreign labor migration will be fully reformed.
