Uzbekistan signed more than 20 agreements on green energy in 4-5 years
In order to ensure the implementation of these projects, 15 decisions were made by the president.
According to the Ministry of Energy, investment agreements worth $9 billion were signed in order to further develop green energy.
In the last 4-5 years, 21 agreements with international companies on the construction of solar and wind power stations with a total capacity of 7 thousand 47 megawatts and 5 contracts for transportation of electricity produced for own needs with a total capacity of 2 thousand 30 megawatts were concluded.
In order to ensure the implementation of these projects, 15 decisions were signed by the President of Uzbekistan.
All these projects are implemented by foreign companies at the expense of direct investments.
As a result of actively attracting investments for the prospects of green energy, that is, solar and wind power plants, financing from the state budget, relatively cheap and environmentally friendly additional sources of energy will be created. As a result of this, the total load in energy consumption is gradually normalized at the expense of alternative energy sources.
Alternative energy sources can be the solution to most of the problems in the field. But delivering it to consumers also requires a perfect and pristine infrastructure.
