Over 2,000 minors committed crimes in 8 months
1,424 schoolchildren participated in the crimes.

In the 8th month of 2023, 2,024 crimes were committed by 2,121 minors in the republic.
The MIA Public Security Department informed UzA that 1,424 schoolchildren participated in the crimes.
In addition, 291 students of academic lyceums and vocational education institutions committed crimes.
142 unemployed (school leavers) and 264 working minors also participated in the crime.
Previously, the number of minors, who were convicted in Uzbekistan in 2022, was announced.
In 2021, 1,472 juveniles were convicted, and in 2022, this number increased to 2,116. In 2022, there were 389 crimes of low social risk, and 510 less serious crimes.
