European Investment Bank will open a representative office in Tashkent
On October 23, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks in Luxembourg with Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Teresa Chervinskaya.
At the meeting the parties discussed further strengthening cooperation in a number of areas – from macroeconomic prosperity to green energy.
“We express our gratitude to the European Investment Bank for its continued support of the reform program of Uzbekistan and welcome the opening of its office in Tashkent,” FM Saidov said.
It should be noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov visited Luxembourg to take part in the 19th EU-Central Asia ministerial meeting, which took place on October 23.
