Freight turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia increased by 38%
The parties will develop mutual trade within the framework of a simplified customs corridor.

According to the results of nine months of this year, cargo turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia increased by 38% year-on-year, the press service of the RF Federal Customs Service reports.
On October 31, the head of the customs committee of Uzbekistan, Akmalkhodja Mavlonov, discussed with his Russian colleague Ruslan Davydov the development of mutual trade.
The parties agreed on the development of a simplified customs corridor and mutual recognition of authorized economic operator institutions.
Uzbekistan and Russia also signed a document on the exchange of customs information, which will speed up information about changes in the national registers of the authorized economic operator of the two countries.
Recently, the head of Russian customs Davydov, in his column for RBC, emphasized that Russia needs to step up projects to speed up the movement of goods under international agreements with Uzbekistan, mentioning a pilot project for a simplified customs corridor.
