Russian KhimAgro planning to offer its fertilizers to the Uzbek market
The company is working on setting up a subsidiary to promote and supply the products.

The ChemAgro company plans to enter the market of Uzbekistan, the trade mission of the Russian Federation in Tashkent reported.
The company’s director for foreign economic activity, Roman Yatsumira, met with the head of the trade mission on November 21. The parties discussed prospects for KhimAgro in the local market and measures of outside support.
A Russian company has registered its trademark in Uzbekistan. It is now working on opening a subsidiary in the country.
It will promote innovative fertilizers for foliar feeding, the statement said. At the meeting with the trade representative, special attention was paid to the need to present the company as part of exhibitions and fairs.
In October, another Russian fertilizer producer, PhosAgro, began supplying ammonium phosphate fertilizers to Uzbekistan. The company noted the potential of the Central Asian markets for water-soluble drugs.
Last week, another company, Shchelkovo Agrokhim, launched a plant for the production of plant protection products in Urgut. The enterprise was built over six years and cost $30 million.
