More than 887 thousand births registered in Uzbekistan over 11 months
In January-November 2023, 887,424 live births were registered in Uzbekistan.

According to the Statistics Agency, the birth rate increased by 4.4% compared to the same period last year.
The agency noted that 459,701 of the newborns were boys and 427,723 – girls.
Earlier the Statistics Agency provided data about recorded marriages in the republic for the past eleven months. According to the report, in January-November, 256,533 marriages were registered in Uzbekistan.
