Power outages hit Fergana Valley regions

Today at 2:13 p.m., a technical malfunction occurred in the high-voltage "L-524" power transmission network, which provides electricity to consumers in the valley regions.
As a result, short-term interruptions in the electricity supply are observed in Namangan, Fergana and Andijan regions, the Ministry of Energy said.
"Currently, work is being carried out to eliminate the problem. The electricity supply will soon be restored," the ministry’s report reads.
