Illegal mining farm robbed electricity worth 7 billion soums in Fergana
Reportedly, a 22-year-old citizen illegally used the electricity network by setting up a mining farm.
The Cybersecurity Center of the Fergana regional DIA has conducted an operative event in cooperation with the relevant law enforcement agencies.
During the event, it was identified that I.M., a 22-year-old resident of Andijan, had organized an illegal mining farm.
As a result of the illegal use of the electricity network, this mining farm embezzled electricity worth 7 billion soums.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 169-4, Paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code, and investigative- search activities are being carried out.
According to the law, the penalty of imprisonment from 8 to 15 years is provided for the criminal acts under Article 169-4 of the Criminal Code.
