Thick fog limited operation of Tashkent airport

A number of flights were diverted to alternative airfields due to thick fog and reduced visibility (250 meters).

Today, January 18, Uzbekistan Airways flight HY602 (Moscow - Tashkent) could not land at the capital's airport due to thick fog.

The crew decided to fly to an alternative airfield in Samarkand. The plane landed at Samarkand airport at 05:20 Tashkent time.

Also, Uzbekistan Airways flight HY9613 (Moscow - Tashkent), which took off at 05:19 local time, decided to go to an alternative airport in Urganch due to the deterioration of the passenger's health. The plane landed at Urganch airport at 06:42 Tashkent time.

Uzbekistan Airways flight HY708 (Vladivostok - Tashkent) went to an alternative airport in Samarkand. The plane landed at Samarkand airport at 07:03 Tashkent time.

Centrum Air flight C67704 (Jeddah - Tashkent) also went to an alternative airfield. The plane landed at Samarkand airport at 07:52 Tashkent time.

Flight SU6971 (St. Petersburg - Tashkent) of Rossiya Airlines departed for Fergana airport. The plane landed at Fergana airport at 10:05 local time.

Panorama Airways flights 5P5366 and 5P362 (Madina - Tashkent) went to an alternative airport in Samarkand. 

Also, due to unfavorable weather conditions at Osh (Kyrgyzstan) airport, Jazeera Airways flight J9653 departing from Kuwait was diverted to an alternative airport in Namangan. The plane landed at Namangan airport at 08:35 Tashkent time.
