From March 13, LOT Polish Airlines will begin regular flights on the Warsaw-Tashkent-Warsaw route.
During the event held at Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Warsaw, it was noted that last year the country welcomed 8,000 tourists from Poland, with that figure expected to rise to 25,000 this year.
Marta Vishnevska, director of the sales department at LOT Polish Airlines, emphasized the European Union's keen interest in developing a tourism exchange with Uzbekistan, a nation rich in history and culture. She expressed hope for prosperous tourism cooperation between Poland and Uzbekistan.
Flights will be conducted three times a week: from Warsaw to Tashkent on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and from Tashkent to Warsaw on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Ticket prices start from 5.5 million UZS for Warsaw to Tashkent and from 6.8 million UZS for Tashkent to Warsaw.
