Omani companies plan to expand their cooperation with Uzbekistan
Negotiations were held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Muscat with the management of leading investment companies in Oman.
During the meeting, the director of Oman-China Investment LLC, Yuhan Su, said that the conditions created for investors in Uzbekistan attracted him, and therefore he began investing in our country and will continue to intensify his activities in this direction.
According to him, his company has currently invested $2 million in the production of SIM cards used for phones in the Fergana region. At the same time, in the Fergana region, Yuhan Su plans to build an international level school. In addition, the head of the Omani company announced the readiness of an investment project totaling $5 million for the production of laptops.
During a meeting with the general manager of Atyab International Services, Mohib Ahmed, the Omani entrepreneur said that he is investing in Uzbekistan, believing in the conditions created in the country, and encourages his Omani colleagues to do the same. He said that the company has created a laboratory in the Tashkent region to provide appropriate certificates for the export of food products. To do this, the Omani company purchased equipment from abroad worth $2 million and brought it to Uzbekistan as an investment.
Both entrepreneurs were invited to the Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held in Uzbekistan on May 2-3.
