On February 15, 2024, the council of people’s deputies of Jizzakh region approved new tariffs (prices) for drinking water supply and wastewater services in Jizzakh region.

According to it, from March 1, 2024, the following tariffs will be applied (the proposed prices include VAT):
Drinking water:
For the population (1 m³) – 4,000 soums;
for budget organizations (1 m³) – 6,000 soums;
for wholesale consumers (1 m³) – 6,000 soums.
Sewage service:
For the population (1 m³) – 1,700 soums;
for budget organizations (1 m³) – 2,500 soums;
for wholesale consumers (1 m³) – 2,500 soums.
Also, by the decision of the council of people’s deputies of Jizzakh region, the price of waste removal services is increased as follows:
6,000 soums per person per month for the population;
for economic entities (1 m³) – 60,000 soums;
for economic entities (for 1 ton) – 135,420 soums;
placing waste in a landfill – 11,865 soums.
