Uzbekistan imported 133.5 thousand tons of bananas in 2023
In 2022, this figure was 5% higher and amounted to 140.2 thousand tons. Ecuador remains the largest exporter of bananas to Uzbekistan in 2022-2023.

According to the Statistics Agency, in 2023, about 133.5 thousand tons of bananas worth $95.1 million were imported to Uzbekistan from abroad.
In 2022, this figure was 140.2 thousand tons, worth $63.4 million.
Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the most bananas in 2023:
1. Ecuador – 130 thousand tons;
2. China – 1,043 tons;
3. Georgia – 976 tons;
4. Türkiye – 746 tons;
5. Kazakhstan – 375 tons.
