Mild earthquake hits Uzbekistan

The epicenter of the tremor was located in the Kashkadarya region.

oday, on March 4, at 11:29 local time, an earthquake occurred in Uzbekistan, the Seismological Prognostic Monitoring Centre of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The magnitude of the earthquake was 2-3 points in the Mirishkor district of the Kashkadarya region.

The coordinates of the earthquake: 38.78 degrees north latitude and 64.94 degrees east longitude; the magnitude M=4.6 and the depth - 8 km. The epicenter is located 457 km to the southwest of Tashkent.
